The SkidWeigh Plus ED4 mobile weighing and vehicle manager is the most comprehensive on-board productivity system available for material handling today. Designed to integrate seamlessly into any operation, the ED4 provides the same +/- 1% accuracy of rated capacity, with two way data connectivity and export, featuring USB, Remote (RF), Wi-Fi and industrial blue tooth. IVDT’s patented data exchange platform available on the SkidWeigh Plus ED4 allows for extensive data import collection, ‘Real Time’ acknowledgement, custom sorting of events needed and even automatic transfer of data to increase efficiency in required applications. Designed to provide businesses with maximum efficiency the SkidWeigh Plus ED4 utilizes an option suite that includes overloading, impact management, vehicle utilization, safety checks records, overload access control, and scanner connectivity. The system even allows for customized reports to be accessed or sent direct to project managers and stakeholders.
The system can be easily installed in the hydraulic lift circuit of any material handling equipment regardless of voltage and capacity and does not alter the rating requiring the vehicle to be re-plated. Once installed, an even simpler calibration process begins by lifting a known load against the weight of the empty forks or attachment. Once this is acknowledged the system software takes over and the SkidWeigh Plus ED4 mobile weighing and vehicle manager is ready to use. Similar to the ED2 and ED3 the ED4 utilizes an IP67 rated digital unit enclosure that protects against dust and moisture standing up against the toughest material handling applications.
