Ping Pong Balls have long been thought of as just a game ball used to play a game at any recreational center. But hold on to your hats when I tell you they have been far more in the lime light than any other ball you can name. Have you ever watched a lottery drawing on TV? Guess what ball they use. It’s the 38mm Ping Pong Ball. Now, for those of you that are not aware of it, it is not the present day official sized Ping Pong Ball used in the playing of the game of Table Tennis. In September, 1999, the size was changed to a 40mm diameter ball by the A.T.T.A. to slow the game down. We are the only company presently stocking the 38mm ball to be used in the lottery machines, (which can’t accept the new 40mm ball), and primarily for custom imprinting for the advertising specialty business.
We not only have the 38mm size ball, but also have inventory of the new 40mm ball for regulation play, and a new size of 31.5mm ball to be custom imprinted for use in the air compression gun called a Burp Gun (mfr. by Burpco).
Ping Pong Balls have many uses besides the game of Table Tennis. We have imprinted them to be dropped over a crowd at a shopping mall parking lot in San Francisco and dropped from an airplane over the city of Nairobi, Kenya, Africa. We have had them shot from the Burp Guns into a crowd at a parade by politicians, and cheerleaders at a basketball game. They have been used to help size and determine the amount of CO2 to be used in deploying a vehicle’s air bag. The list goes on and on with how they can be used in marketing and advertising.
We have the ability to print any kind of request you can imagine on the Ping Pong Balls with any number of colors, sides, or designs. Our technology allows us to even be able to imprint photos in 4-color process inks and "Total Spherical Imprinting".
